Since forming in mid-2014, Forests have gained a global cult following of listeners through their unique blend of 90s-influenced emo with math-pop perfection.
The 2019 release of their sophomore album Spending Eternity In A Japanese Convenience Store found the band gaining critical praise with a huge increase in North America listenership as a result features on Bandcamp’s editorial pages as well as being the only band from Asia featured on Vulture.com’s list of 100 Greatest Emo Songs of All Time.
Forests’ reputation for riotous, frantic and fun live performances has led the band from performing in intimate club shows in Singapore to legendary venues abroad in Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Guangzhou and Malaysia.
With the departure of founding member Adam, 2020 finds the band consolidating creative ideas and tinkering with new material in preparation for new musical adventures that lie ahead.
